Sea to Sky Bears is a partnership between Squamish Minor Hockey and Whistler Minor Hockey Associations to help develop players and build a bridge to AAA level play for the corridor.
U15A1 Head Coach
Jordan McCarl
Jordan McCarl resumes his role as the Head Coach of the U15 A1 team. In the 2023-24 season, his team saw a solid second-place finish at the Tier 2 BC Championship. McCarl was also on the bench as a coach with U15 Team White at the 2023 BC Hockey Program of Excellence Provincial Tournament. With an extensive background as both a player and a coach, McCarl provides an environment that resonates with players while fostering their development.
U15A2 Coaches
Elliot Moses & Cam Gore
Elliot Moses and Cam Gore join forces to lead the U15 A2 team. Elliot brings 11 years of coaching experience to the collaboration and a recent stint as the U15 A1 Head Coach with Squamish Minor Hockey. Meanwhile, Cam Gore has served as the U13 A1 Assistant Coach with Squamish Minor Hockey for two seasons. Together, their combined experience will provide an environment for players to compete while developing their skills and teamwork.
U18A1 Head Coach
Riley Wagner
Riley Wagner ascends to the role of Head Coach for the U18 A1 team, stepping up from assistant coach with the U18 A1 team. The team had a commendable 3rd place finish at the BC Championship during the 2023-24 season. With over a decade's worth of coaching experience under his belt, Wagner's proven track record of development with the U18 group will assure continued growth.
U18A2 Head Coach
Jesse Williamson
The Bears welcome Jesse Williamson into their fold. Williamson was most recently the Head Coach for the U13 A1 Whistler Minor Hockey team. With his leadership the team seized the top spot at the Tier 4 BC Championship.
